CT Innovates provides civic intelligence training and guided workflows for civic and political organizations. This policy explains what information we collect through this website, why we collect it, and what we do with it.
What we collect
When you contact us. Our contact form asks for your name, email address, your town and committee, what you would like to explore, an optional link to a public or approved document, and your message. You choose what to put in it. We ask for a document link only so we can prepare for a conversation; please do not send us anything confidential through this form.
When you use the site. Like most websites, ours records standard technical information such as your browser type, device, and the pages you visit. We use this to understand what is useful and to keep the site working.
We do not collect voter files, donor records, or membership data through this website.
Why we collect it
To reply to you, to prepare for a conversation you asked for, and to send occasional guidance if you opted in. That is all. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.
Who processes it
- HubSpot receives contact form submissions and stores them as part of our customer records.
- WP Engine hosts this website and processes standard server logs.
Each of these providers handles data under its own terms. We choose providers we consider appropriate for the kind of information this site collects.
How long we keep it
We keep contact records for as long as we are in touch and for a reasonable period afterwards, in case you come back to us. Ask us to delete yours and we will.
Email you asked for
If you ticked the box for occasional guidance, you will hear from us now and then. Every message includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing does not affect anything else we are doing together.
Your choices
Write to hello@ctinnovates.com and you can ask us to:
- send you a copy of what we hold about you,
- correct anything that is wrong,
- delete your information,
- or stop emailing you.
We will respond within a reasonable time.
Cookies
This site uses cookies for basic functionality and for analytics. Most browsers let you refuse cookies or alert you when a site sets one. Refusing them will not stop you reading the site.
Children
This site is intended for adults working in civic and political organizations. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top. Material changes will be noted on this page.
